Senior IT Auditor (m/f/d)

We are a Berlin-based consulting company and offer external IT auditing and certification as well as other audit-related consulting services in a national and international environment. We are looking for reinforcement in the implementation of auditing and consulting projects.

What will you do with us?

  • In your role, you will plan and carry out all aspects of risk-oriented IT audits to assess the security and efficiency of our clients’ IT systems and processes.
  • You will also be responsible for organizing audits of complex accounting-related IT systems, IT-supported business processes, IT organizations and IT infrastructures in accordance with national and international auditing standards.
  • With your in-depth technical and methodological knowledge of IT-related audit topics, you will advise our clients on IT auditing and the development and expansion of their internal control systems.
  • You will also act as the central point of contact for the responsible auditors and clients.
  • Last but not least, you will prepare offers and contribute to a wide range of measures to win new mandates.
  • You will be part of a highly motivated and agile team that creates value for our clients’ businesses by transforming risks into opportunities for continuous improvement.

What makes you the right fit for us?

  • You have a degree in economics, (business) informatics, (business) engineering, (business) law or a comparable qualification.
  • You have at least five years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Carrying out ITGC audits as part of annual audits, carrying out data analyses / JET (Journal Entry Testing) during the audit of financial statements, setting up internal control systems, carrying out or supporting certification projects in accordance with national and international standards such as ISAE 3402, SOC2, BSI C5, IDW PS 880 ISO 27001 or similar.
  • You have professional certifications such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, ISO and/or data protection or another comparable international certification.
  • You have a high level of quality awareness, a pronounced service orientation and strong communication skills, which you can use in advising our clients.
  • You are business fluent in German and have a practical and reportable command of English (other languages, e.g. Spanish, are an advantage).
  • You work independently, are a strong team player and think analytically.
  • You are familiar with working in a quality management system provided by the employer.
  • You live in Germany.

  • Your salary is in line with the market.
  • Your position is permanent, 40 hours per week (part-time possible).
  • You will work from home by arrangement. In order not to lose personal contact, we meet regularly once a month for a business update in our Berlin office.
